Wow. That 3 to send it to OT was crazy. Luck was on their side today. Michigan played terrible in OT. Forced shots and out of control

Michigan State 78, Purdue 65

Michigan State is leading the B1G all by itself. The Michigan game is Tuesday...

So rankings should put Duke back on top. Zoga and Zona should be 2nd and 3rd, then it's a shitstorm. IU should be next, then UM, but who knows how it all plays out. How is Wisconsin still not ranked. Seems like they can beat any ranked team they play.

Unless Duke loses at BC tonight. Then its really up on the air.

Yeah that was pretty shocking, he couldn't have hit that shot again in 15 tries. After Timmy drilled that 3 I really thought that game was finished. LaVert hesitated for a second when he first caught the inbound pass and I guess felt like he couldn't take a chance at an intentional foul after that. I guess something like this was bound to happen sooner or later with our freshman getting so many crucial minutes.

After the Wisconsin loss Saturday this game has become a "must win game" for Michigan in my opinion. Although I'm pretty confident the winner of the B1G will probably finish with 4 conference losses.

Morgan must play Tuesday, GR3 and Stauskas need to step up also, they have both been pretty much invisible the last several games. I'm still concerned about Michigan's ability to defensively rebound consistently. This is their biggest weakness in my opinion.

How many vowels in o-v-e-r-a-t-e-d?? Down goes the January NC.....
And.....Congrats Sparty!!

The B1G is very deep, anyone is capable of losing a road game or 2 or 3 in this conference. What you CAN'T do is drop home games. I predict the B1G Conference champ will have 4 losses this year. I don't put much stock at all into national rankings, for me its all about getting it done when it matters most in the NCAA Tourney this year, but whatever makes you Buckeyes feel good go ahead and celebrate it :gives:

I'm certainly not puffing my chest out over some "national ranking" or the fact that a team I don't like lost a game.

The only games that matter are the tourney games. The only ranking that matters is the #1 at the end of the tourney. With the B1G tourney, even the regular season championship doesn't matter.

Indiana, Ohio State, MSU, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinios are in. Maybe even Michigan even though they haven't beat anyone. They're just fighting for a position in what ever bracket they're in.

Exactly. I mean they have a higher strength of schedule and better record then MSU, but obviously they haven't beat anyone.

Your kidding yourself if you think Michigan is a "maybe" for the NCAA Tournament. There's no shame in losing to Indiana on the road, losing to OSU in Columbus by 3, and losing at Wisconsin in OT by 3 after that miracle half court shot nonetheless. I think beating a very tough OSU team, dismantling Minnesota on the road, and smashing Illinois in their own gym are all good wins, not gimmie's by any means in this conference. Keep in mind that Indiana lost in Illinois and got handily beaten by Wisconsin on their own floor. Michigan State lost at Minnesota by 13 and also dropped a game on the road in Indiana. Of all the teams you listed as "in" Minnesota is 5 and 5 and Illinois is 3 and 7 so you may want to reconsider who's gonna be "in" or "maybe" in.
I do understand that your hatred for Michigan won't allow you to be objective, so I'm not really surprised by your opinion.

I agree to an extent. I think we have had some quality wins, but we're still searching for that "marquee" victory as they call it, which could come as soon as Tuesday up in East Lansing. If Michigan is to win the B1G this season I think we will need to run the table the rest of the way, which would mean beating MSU on the road Tuesday, and 2 more tough home wins against MSU and Indiana to close out the season. I do still believe that the B1G winner could possibly have as many as 4 conference losses this year, very tough conference. I think both Indiana and MSU have a tougher road ahead of them to finish the season than Michigan does as well.
