2017 College Hoops

Izzo has a tramp stamp that says 'property of Mike Krzyzewski". Even if you think Kansas is a fraud, and WV and Virginia are definite wins, Duke owns MSU and are a really good team.

I will admit you are right when it comes to Krzyzewski. I thought without all the mistakes in the first game, MSU would have walked away with the win. We'll see how the Sweet 16 game turns out. But like Duke is MSU's kryptonite, MSU is Kansas'. I just think this is their year. Get past Duke and write their names on the trophy.

Sparty squeaks past mighty Bucknell by 4....

UVA losing by 16 in the second half!?

What a game. Not only a 1 seed, but overall #1 seed goes down. Only took 33 years.

Epitome of March Madness

which sweet 16 game is Sparta going to?

They are not and they don't deserve to. I didn't watch anything but the last 10 seconds, but if MSU missed their last 14 shots to end the game, they flat out choked. It was the same way they ended against Bucknell. I'm sorry, but Tom Izzo needs to work on the team finishing a game. Every loss they had this year was they same way. The season ends 1-1.

Tell me about all of those late game leads they had on Michigan this year and failed to close out....

Get that shit outta here. How about not taking 37 shots from the 3. And maybe go inside to your bigs. Izzo needs a new playbook, not the one from 2000. He didn’t prepare this team.

Maybe try watching games before you post your bullshit replies.

He said all of the MSU losses this season were from failing to close out the games. Michigan took the lead 2 minutes into the second half and never looked back, won by 10 points. Same thing in the B1G Tourney... took the lead in the middle of the second half and pulled away steadily to win by 10 again.

I’d hardly describe those games as wins they failed to close out [emoji23]

I don't see how you could go inside on the Orange - those guys are all like 7' tall, and the center was 7'2". Plus, in that 2-3 zone they play, you got three guys on you when you drive the lane. The way you beat it is to drive, then pass out to an open guy. State just couldn't hit the shots. They had tons of looks and an unbelievable amount of offensive boards. They just couldn't put it in the round hoop thing.

I was at the game. They got the ball into carter on several trips and he’s 10 feet from the bucket. And the crowd yells “shoot the ball” In unison. What does he do, he dishes it out to Winston who throws up a brick.

Zones can be broken down. Clearly izzo doesn’t know how to do that. No transition game either. When they would get a Defensive rebound they didn’t drive it back. They allowed cuse to setup their zone. Then they dribble around down to 3-4 on the clock and either throw up a brick, or get called for shot clock violation. They’re a talented team. Izzo under utilized them today.

At least they saved themselves the embarrassment of losing to duke next week.

After seeing Carters jumpshot I was pretty happy with the outside chances. It looked like he was doing a throw-in in a soccer game.
