2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Not to kill your for sale ad. Can you explain the dash lights and the lifter tick. Is this a common issue with the 5.7 hemi? What does it take to repair? My daughter needs a car and I don't mind fixing something but I don't want to put a motor in it :).

The SES came on with a # 5 cylinder misfire. Shortly thereafter a lifter tick started on that cylinder. The code will not clear.

He was selling the truck anyway, he has a baby on the way and wanted a bigger truck. He doesn't want to put any money into fixing it.

That's all I know about it.
