Would that be the Texas Longhorns who finished 5-7 (2-6) and finished in last place in their division?

Yes, and the same Texas that will bounce back to its winning ways. Do you really think they will be that bad ever again? I dont.....and for your sake I wont compare Texas and MSU over the last 10 years....lol

Realistically, I do expect Texas to bounce back. Unless you're going to run Michigan's version of the spread.

bowl wins, dont matter National championships are the only thing that matters and in the last say 61 (1950 to current) years who has more even though one school screwed Bama outta one

The first official football poll was released today. The USA Today Coaches poll has MSU at #17 right behind OSU. Michigan didn't make the Top 25. Also, the B1G announced that in 2017 the teams will be going to a 9 hame league schedule. The question will be will MSU or Michigan schedule tougher teams other than Notre Dame?

Probably MAC schools I would guess.

I think MSU has Alabama scheduled for 2017. I would hate to lose that game. The PAC-10 has schools that have tried +1, +2 and +3 scheduling. It means one tough game (like ASU playing Wisconsin), a medium game that they should win, but could be upset (the example was Neveda) and then a cream puff.

I wouldn't mind that. But I'd like to see more than just Notre Dame. MSU could play ND, a MAC school and a mid level team like a CUSA team or a WAC team.

2016 and 2017 home and away series and you'd hate to lose to Bama again what was it again? 49-7?

Absolutely I'd hate to lose to Bama. Last year's game was a measuring stick. MSU dodn't measure up. I can admit that. Still better than losing to Mississippi State 52-14. State could be 7-5 and still have a better team than they did last year. The schedule is a lot tougher.

That game was disappointing. MSU was a couple stupid mistakes away from the game being 14-14. But they did make those mistakes and they let them snowball. Bama is a program that is 'there'. MSU is still building. I won't argue the obvious.

Obsolete is UofM. I don't get all the hype with them anymore. They haven't been good in 10 years. They haven't been good in 20 years.
