Bama is so deep in talent...it wouldn't matter if they lost the entire first string Def/Off. They will still be a top team the next year.

And because the SEC is a bunch of dirty rotten mother fuckers.

They'll offer scholarships to 15 kids, when they only have 9 to pass out for example. They'll take scholarships away from kids who don't preform. They'll also give half scholarships to kids. They're pieces of shit, the worse kind of people.

Big 10 schools on the other hand, will use almost all of their scholarships and then usually give the last couple to walk ons. ( This is one of the reason Ohio State and Jim Tressle is such a piece of garbage, because the people who are going to pay the most are the kids and family's of walk ons that would have gotten a full ride.) Look at Michigan for example. During the Dick Wad era they offered scholarships to a few kickers, they were horrible, but they kept their scholarships. If it was Alabama they would have lost their scholarships.

Until this is leveled out, you're going to see SEC teams get better recruits. That's the main reason they get better recruits.
