Holy Shit!!!! Rumor is Texas just offered First Team All American JUCO QB Bo Wallace. Great news given the shitty QB the last 2 years. Hopefully this guy can come to Texas and make an impact. His stats from JUCO are insane, but that really doesnt mean anything.

Tough D, strong stable of RB's, JUCO recruits,...... Is Texas turning into a SEC team?

Desperate times call for desperate measures

I wouldnt call it desperation yet, more of lack of depth at positions. Texas can thank the old coaching staff for all the holes. They really want to redshirt incomming freshman Connor Brewer (hand picked recruit by Bryan Harsin), adding Bo Wallace will make sure this happens. This also could be a move to further lure in DGB. Just when I thought this recruiting class couldnt get any better it does!

Personally I think he sucks as QB. I can see the appeal, but his passes are so pathetic it negates anything he does on foot. There has to be a better position for him in the Pro's.

If I was a coach or GM... I would take him simply based on his athletic ability and his attitude. Say what you will about the guy... I know he's thrown some lame ducks and bad INTs... But he works hard, loves the game and says all the right things. You can't find anybody associated with Michigan or the game that has a bad thing to say about him as a person and a teammate. In an era of embarassments to the program like Tyrel Prior etc, I think Denard is a great kid to have on any team. As I stated earlier, he was recruited by a coach who's system had the QB running first and throwing second. That's his game. And when the coaches changed, the offense changed, and he has worked hard and smiled through it. And Michigan is 11-2. If you saw the little interview before the Sugar Bowl, you should be proud of him. All he did was say he loves Michigan, loves Michigan football and wants his kids to go to Michigan.

I commented last night much like Mike. Had that been OSU or MSU, nothing would have happened if we even heard about it. Beamer is a quality coach.

Prolly right, some coaches will put wins above anything. I read a story on ESPN about Beamer and his wife it was a great story and shows alot about their charcter. Long story short after a bowl game they were in a hurry to make a flight and had to drop off the rental car quickly to make the flight. A week later the person who set up all the travel araigments for the VT staff recieved a check for $50.00 to fill up the gas tank because they didnt have time to and felt bad about it. The story was alot better, but it just shows the Beamers are good people.

I like to also think Mack Brown is one of the "better" coaches out there.

They also booted Marcus Vick off the team for stomping on a downed player's leg. But when Gholston rips a downed player's helmet around 180 degrees, MSU doesn't do a thing.

Attitude is everything in my book. Im a firm believer in you can achieve anything with hard work and a positive attitude. Gimme a recruit who WANTS it over one who thinks they HAVE it any day of the week.

Yep. That's why when it came to the Red Wings, I said I'd take Chris Draper over Sergei Federov on my team any day

I'm scared to think of Rich Rod got him. Any Florida team would have taken him and probably paid him too. I hope Rich Rod got him without doing anything stupid.

I didnt follow his recruitment, but wasnt he always a "Michigan man" as in thats where he wanted to go and didnt take any other visits?

I saw that on sports science. I didnt realize Vick had such bad numbers lol.

Vick had a great year last year. He had ONE year with great numbers in Atlanta. But typically his passing numbers have been ok to terrible and not good outside of a couple isolated years. No matter how shitty of a year he was having in Atlanta though, he owned the Panthers. They couldn't ever stop him.

That's entirely possible. I didn't follow his recruitment either. I just know Miami would have paid him a few grand a month to play there. lol

Let us all know when Michigan suspends the dirtiest OL in the B1G. I haven't seen Lewen disciplined for anything he's done.

So when does this thread come to an end and 2012 begin? DeAnthony Arnett is transfering from Tennessee to MSU. That takes care of one WR spot. Fowler and Lippet are the other two. And they'll add one or two on signing day.

after the Championship game I'll let it go for a little bit, then I'll close it and open up another one.
