2010 Motown Muscle Race Schedule - Friday Sept 17th Canceled - Last Race is Sat, Oct 16th, 10AM-1PM

We're at the track on Friday folks. Don't forget to call in sick and come make some passes at Milan. :D

Hi Everyone,

We have cancled the Friday Sept 17th track rental for money and particpation reasons. We took a hit with the poor attendance on the last Friday rental and we can't afford another one like that at this point. So I will refund the PayPal payments for the three people that were excited enough to prepay. I apologize to them but thank them for the support of the club and the racing that we do. :D

So we are working with Milan on doing either a Thursday night rental on October 16th or 23rd, or we have a shot at one Saturday morning rental possbily. If the Saturday opens up we'll take that because those always workout well. If not we will post a poll for people to vote on the two Thursday night options.

I just posted in the other post... Why the late notice?? Ive got about 5 guys planning on coming that already to work off??
 
i can do weekend and maybe evenings during the week. A weekday morning is an absolute no-go for me
 
Milan is hooking us up with the only NOET Saturday morning rental of the year. The final Track day will be Saturday Oct 16th from 10am-1PM. The gates will open at 9:30 AM. We will use our standard costs noted earlier in the post.

NOET will start at 2PM.

I apologize to those that failed to let us know that they were coming by prepaying. Three heads prepaying including me with just my truck is not enough to have the track for 6 hours. :)

In the end... Saturday OCT 16th will be: Bigger Races, Bigger Show, Bigger Money, Bigger Party at Milan for Motown Muscle Track Rental in the morning and NOET the rest of the day.

The last rental's turnout was pretty disappointing, I certainly understand the reasoning. Sounds like October will be a good time!
 
I'll cancel the u-haul car trailer rental I had for friday. It would have been the first time this year I made it to the track.
 
do we get into no et with the rental? or do we have to leave and pay to get back in? sorry for the neeb question, but I want to pass this info along to a few guys and thats a good/great selling point.
 
Stupid question; does that fee cover more than one driver for a single vehicle? I ask because at a private rental a couple years ago i.e. the last one I attended I was hoping that the wife could've run my truck but couldn't.
