Actual dates for the show are Fri-Sat June 29 and 30. Spots are $26/night http://www.koa.com/where/mi/22156/index.htm#rates

I'm sure 99% of the group that went last year will go again this year, at a minimum of Thusday-Sunday. Half of us went up Wednesday night, and the other half came up mid-day Thursday. I'm thinking about taking the whole week off, or Wed-Fri off and go up Tuesday night. Maybe even pick up Nickles trailer on the way.

beautiful, ok you steal nickles trailer and i will steal my parents bus for the weekend. :D

I can do the whole week. I will be available to leave Sat night after 6PM and good all the way through the Wednesday after the show.

Damn, what is that shutdown week for you guys?

I just took a look at the calendar, and 4th of July falls on the Wednesday of the following week which is interesting. That means some people will go up north the week before and take monday-tuesday off of work which could mean the straits area could even be busier than usual. Which means we really need to get spots early.

Right now i'm planning for Wed-Sun again unless more people can get more time off. Most likely they won't be able to.

ouu that would be noooooice! I remember seeing pics of that land yacht. We could party between the two and use them as a sound barrier

If I am able to go, it will likely be for no more than Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I can't see why i wouldn't be able to take Friday off and leave Thursday after work. But I also can't see taking more time than that off of work.

LOL Nah. with my new schedule, I will take a weeks vacation, so I'll get paid for 40 hours that week. The following week I'll start my 12 hour days either on Wednesday or Thursday, so I will have a week and a half off and not miss a pay check.
