I have for sale my 2000 Formula Firebird. It has 61000 miles on it, has the LS1/T56, power locks and windows, rear defogger, monsoon stereo, 17" WS6 rims and is a hard top.
It runs and drives great, and feels extremely solid, free of most of the common Fbody squeaks, rattles and clunks. Very clean inside and out, though the front bumper shows the common chips they get. The wheels were stripped and powder coated this spring. The previous owner had the brakes totally gone through at about 43k. I changed the clutch, master and slave this spring at 57k. Regular oil changes with Mobile 1, and its been stored inside over the winters. The tires are about the only thing that will need attention soon but are OK for now.
As for mods, here's the run down:
SLP lid w/ K&N
Ported stock TB
LS6 intake manifold
LS6 valve springs
Comp rocker arm trunion kit
Comp hardened pushrods
Comp cam 218/224 114+2, this is a low lift version, .526/.535" or so. Easy on valve springs and no sewing machine sounds.
Powerbond under drive pulley
Melling HD oil pump
Adjustable LS2 timing set
Polyurethane engine and transmission mounts
TSP 1 7/8ths headers
TSP ORY
Magnaflow catback - All exhaust connections were made with high quality band clamps.
Monster stage 2 clutch with light weight flywheel
ARP hardware for the flywheel and pressure plate
Tick adjustable master cylinder
Tick remote clutch speed bleeder
Pro 5.0 short shifter
UMI torque arm relocation crossmember
UMI weld in subframe connectors
Koni yellows up front
17x9 WS6 wheels, freshly powder coated
AUX port added to the Monsoon deck, plug in your phone or Ipod for music
Passenger side wire tuck under the hood
I think that sums up the things done to it. Most of them were to prevent the typical LS1 or Fbody issues from popping up, along with making it faster of course. The car was tuned with HPT and a wide band, then checked on the dyno, where it put down 383hp/370ftlbs on a dyno jet. I do have most all of the stock parts still if the buyer was interested in them, including the exhaust and 16" wheels.
Its a very nice and fun car, drives much like stock, just a little louder and more power everywhere. It just doesn't fit me as well as I thought, and I can do better things with the money I'd save if this were sold. I'm asking $9000 or best offer, questions can be asked in this thread or via PMs. You can also PM me for a phone number if you'd like to ask questions that way.
