2000 formula firebird project

Valentine is fabbing up a chromo bumper support, plus where else is the air to air intercooler supposed to go? I would like to paint my engine bay when the engine is out as well. I'm tired of having the dirty car.
 
looks good neighbor! i just wrapped up an evening of thrashing myself. i'd post some pics, but having the trans ready to come out tomorrow just isn't that appealing. lol. good luck with yours!

trans is fine. i'll just service it, new fluid, nose cone and speedo drive gear for the 4:10. i've got a better clutch set-up for it too. the 90k unit i'm sure is about done for. throw a quick grind on the flywheel, toss'er back in. sure sounds easy sitting here on the couch. lol.

Today the A/C and old headers came off. Tuesday my rear wheels and wheel studs will be in so I will pull the axles and do that. Plus I can then swap the 4.33 gear in since the center section will be pulled. I'm debating on hoods right now, either a lift off ws6 hood or a lift off ws9 hood. Any opinions?

Please not the ws9, do not ruin your car!!
 
I haven't seen one in person, only in pics. I was on the fence about it....I take it that the hood looks terrible in person?
 
sounds like things are coming right along. the t-town boys are thrashing for sure. personally, i'm sorer than hell! maybe bolts weren't as tight back in the day. lol.

Hangemhigh, I know how you feel! I got done today and feel like I need a good hour in the hot tub....only problem is we don't have a hot tub!
 
Tuesday rear wheels, wheel studs and lugs should be here so I'll start in on the rear tomorrow. gear swap, pull axles to replace studs and start modding the wheel well for the 325 radial. By saturday I should have my fuel parts.
