Wow, he agreed to sell it to you. Backed out because he had to sell it to a family member but never sold it to the family member.

I'm gonna say it sucks on both sides, one person wants to buy the other decides he wants to keep. It's an unfortunate situation that I have put myself in several times....I end up selling and parting my ways hoping for something better
