1990 Mustang...

That sucks the cage paint didn't turn out too well. I sprayed POR15 and it laid down great. I even brushed it and the brush marks leveled out, but it took a few days, actually. I got POR15 on my hands and even after a laquer thinner soak, gas, and 4 days of showering, it was still there. :lol: I've used gloves before, but sometimes you're in a hurry.
 
Thanks to Dean1320 for helping me drop the car off at the chassis shop last night...

As promised more updates...

The rack was changed from a Mustang rack to a Pinto rack...



Custom bumpsteer made onto the pinto rack...


New steering shaft...



Also on the list to be done...
Modify Dry Sump Pan to lower the engine in the car...
Mount up fiberglass dash...
Mount dual air launchers...
Mount air cylinder for parachute handle...
Mount brake pedal in the floor...
Install both driveshaft loops...
Install wheelie bar brackets on rear end...
Install the wheelie bars...

Wow that is alot of race car shit!!! Dual chutes means 200+ mph. IM GONNA NEED SOME ROOM!!!!

The only difference between my car and your car... You have a laddar bar to my stock suspension and turbo that is 18mm bigger then mine... :crap:

That's pretty much exactly the opposite of the advice I gave him :lol:

If it ever gets down the track, I will be the first to admit I was wrong.....I hope I'm wrong :)

Same old thing, just workin' my ass off. The car is good, no big changes so we're hoping to be out as soon as the track is ready.

How's yours going? Are you still planning on trying the true 10.5 stuff?
