1990 Mustang...

What did you put on the cage?

I used the Chassis Saver I had left over in gloss black... I did rush the job big time though... But even in the area's I did a nice job in... It bubbled bad... So I took the grinder to it and start stripping the cage... Then I was told about aircraft remover... So I ordered that and going to use that instead... Hopefully it just wipes right off...

Yeah get some 150 grit and scuff the cage by hand just enough to get a scratch in the chassis saver, then go over the cage with some Aircraft stripper and it should get the majority of it off. I usually get a 4" bondo scraper to get it off, just fyi if you have and old fashion syphon gun spray the ACS on...it works better than brushing it on :handshake:

I can get you some high/semi/low gloss single stage black lmk

Thanks...

No more Chassis Saver... Going to strip it and scuff it nice... Primer it and hit it with a flat black and flat clear... And go from there...

just use sem trim black or similar, nice finish and easy touch up if you scratch it. no sense in bc/cc it if its not a show car.
