With the amount of aftermarket aluminum heads out and so many used pieces for sale, personally I think or would be foolish to waste any energy on a stock cast iron head. Other then the effort it take to remove them.

im leaning towards a dss 408 or alittle smaller stroker kit!! patriot heads and i have a cam waiting already buts its over 620lift so not sure about heads with such a big cam
