Well, I decided that this car really isn't for me. I can't stand watching my dad drive his mustang around anymore especially when mine used to make his look slow, now I'm itching to get back behind the wheel of a 5.0 I don't care about gas mileage or what its like in the snow anymore, I miss the feeling of having that power, so... The bimmers gotta go.

I bought it from a kid who worked at a BMW yard in Detroit, and was a technician student at Washtenaw himself, so he took good care of the car, before him a BMW technician owned it and rebuilt the motor but I was never shown any papers so i just trusted he was telling the truth, it runs and drives like thats true. So here's the specs

1988 BMW 325ix AWD 5 speed
2.5L inline 6
Bilstein suspension
aftermarket wheels, not sure of the model or make but they're in good condition
power windows, manual locks, power sunroof
new rebuilt half shafts on the front axle
Leather interior in decent shape, glove box is currently pulled out, the latch broke and i havn't found a new one yet.

Bad:
Needs new tires relatively soon, even in the snow with the low tread on the tires the AWD pulls right through it anyway i had no problems during a 6 inch snow fall this winter.
Glove box will need to be put back in (3 screws once the latch is replaced)
Needs an alignment, getting that done this week most likely
Passenger side fog light lense broke when i slid into a snow bank, wires broke and i havn't fixed it yet
Odometer froze up at 141,9xx

Trying to think if I'm missing anything, just ask me if you're wondering anything else.

Thanks for looking,
Tony

Just edited it, the odometer froze up at 141xxx when it was being worked on before it was sold to me and i've put less than 1,000 miles on the car since owning it

Rust?

Do you know how long ago/what mileage the engine was rebuilt at? And hopefully this is a stupid question, but was the timing belt replaced recently or when the motor was rebuilt?

only rust is very very very minimul, a hint of it on the bottom of the driver door, but other than that no there is none, the underbody is coated as well.

The engine rebuild was about 20k ago, and he said the timing belt was replaced less than 10k ago but i was going to have it replaced just to be sure but since im selling it i don't think im going to anymore

That's a cool little car!

If i were 50lbs. smaller i'd think about it

haha it was pretty funny watching my friend whos 6 foot and 250lbs try to drive it, he wasn't happy with how small the european designers made it.

Its a fun little car, takes corners like its glued to the road i was planning on auto crossing it this summer but decided id rather just have a 5.0 again for some straight line fun :D

So that being said im obviously interested in trades for any kind of foxbody or 8 cylinder something lol let me know what you have, preferably a manual transmission

such tempting trade offers and its not even on craigslist yet! make it a full pack of gum and its yours

Out of curiosity, is there anything at all, car or non-car related, that you'd consider a trade or partial trade for?

Really looking for a mustang again, or a nicer bike? depends what you have, I'll entertain anything worst i can say is no
