This may be a silly question but why don't you guys have a full diagonal in the main hoop? I'm a road course guys so we obviously have a bit different cage design. Just curious, thanks and sweet projects guys!

Dary, That floor looks quite a bit different than the OE floor. You save any weight with that? How hard was it to install and how far back does it go? Do you know if I could get just the drivers front corner somewhere?

Drag cages have historically have been like yours because thats how the NHRA / IHRA rule book has it. I personally don't like it because the floor near the driveshaft tunnel is weak.

I think the SCCA / NASA rulebook has it right with a diagonal from the lower pass corner to the upper drivers coner of the main hoop.

im cleaning the garage out soon wen the weather breaks for good puttin the interior in, finishing up some porting , bolting the motor together droppin it in.so i should have some pics, hopefully a video i cant wait
