13:1 and a 100 shot?

1974 van block. Skat 393 kit. .697 roller. What level can this bottom end handle?

H or I beams? Keep the rpms down and it will last. Some guys run in the 8's stock windsor block 7k plus rpms. My brother had a shitty eagle kit and it lasted 5 years until he put the 4.56 in it. Went from 6800 rpms to 7500 at the traps. Last 3 passes.

400 shot and lots of timing should tell ya!

I'd say a 100 shot at 13:1 is no big deal on that engine, should live just fine.

Plate or fogger will make a difference too.

400 out of a plate hits harder than 400 out of a fogger.

Bottom end will live longer with a fogger.

I went faster with a double cross plate at 175 than a fogger at 250.

Everything needs a 100 shot. :)

C16 and some -11 plugs is about as safe as it gets but I doubt it needs those just yet. I would try a -9 at least. Pull 3 degrees and see how it runs. It'll work really well if you are over geared or your converter is too tight. Goodluck!
