106.7 WLLZ - Detroit's New Classic Rock

I wish stations still did deep tracks like they did when disc jockeys actually jockeyed LPs instead of playing from a pre-made top 40 playlist.

THIS !!!!!!!
in the 70's that was how WRIF ,WWWW and WABX rolled ... corporate stations suck ....

If you get up north around Traverse City check out WKLT 97.5. They do a good job of mixing up the standard classic rock with a lot of deep cuts. Especially at night when we seem to be drinking a lot of beer.

they have a second antennae in Petoskey 98.5 I can tune it in from St Ignace to Gaylord/ Cheboygan in the bus

SiriusXM is just as bad. I swear they have the same song list on a loop every 3-5 hours.

I'm just about 100% on Spotify for music all the time. People have put together some incredible playlists of 2-500 songs so it takes a while to hear a song repeated.

I got rid of Sirius last year for that very reason. I really only listened to a couple stations and it was either the same exact songs being played over and over or people talking. Spotify ftw.
