Just an update.
A person ran a carfax on the car today and following is what came back:

"06/04/2004 Michigan Police Report Accident reported in Ingham County Involving a front impact with another motor vehicle Very minor damage reported "

I am very shocked by this. I never thought of running a carfax when I bought the car because of the low miles, how clean the car was and how critical the person was I bought the car from. I did ask if there was any accidents and the answer was no. I have left messages with the person I bought it from to find out what happened and what was repaired but I have not heard back yet.
I know I will have to lower the price now just not sure what to do. I cannot afford to loose to much money. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated

Take it to a good body man and they'll tell you which panel is repainted etc ... unless they used parts from a different vehicle which is also possible. There is no way to hide a paintwork, some bolts will be showing marks, something won't line up 100%. But don't loose your sleep on it, it will take another serious and honest buyer to make this sale happen.

Shitty thing to do what the previous seller did. How many owners does the report show ?

It is a two owner car.

I think you should just keep it and sell the 7-up car, the 70 fastback, the ssp car, the40, and the golf cart to me. That would still leave you with plenty of cars to play with.eelout:

I called the MSP, the Lansing Police, Ingham County and no one had a record of this. I called their insurance company and they said they could not tell me anything. I borrowed a different phone and call the previous owner again and they answered. I was told it was a light bump with no damage and no repair done to the car. Not sure if I believe that or not. I have checked and all panels are original. It looks like the front bumper cover may have been painted but not even sure on that. We got it out last weekend and went for a cruise, it is a great car. I was going to wait a couple more weeks till the weather gets warmer and put it in the auto trader or auto rv.

I feel with the low miles I need/want to get $24,000.00-24,500.00
