ZR1 vs. bike

for 1, that is a ZX14... just has the rear seat cover off. stick to trans am's Jr, must not know a whole lot about bikes. the ZX14 is a very unique bike compared to other bikes out now. it's a 9 second bike with a normal rider, i've seen them go 8s with nothing more that a tie down strap and a slip on with a good rider.

The rider is the #1 thing on a bike, and if we're talking pro vs pro it comes down to the track deciding the winner. Look at Nurburgring lap times, they were done by pro's, with the same distance... You'll say "The ZX10R or the ZX14 aren't listed..." --- big deal, the point remains the same... Just because it's a bike doesn't mean it's faster.

Being the car just went away you missed your opportunity. You knew the race, all you had to do was lift your skirt, grab your balls, and get in your car. You've got a pulley, intake, exhaust, valvetrain, built transmission, tuned car that you want to run against a bone stock heavy f-body :thumbsup: Grow some balls this spring and I'll run that thing with the same race I told you before. Otherwise, I am not going to waste my time. I'll be there when I be there. :thumbsup: BTW, it does have traction issues... 2.2-2.3 second 60' ---- my selection in tires wasn't for a drag radial.. It was for stiff sidewalls for fun in the twisties...

Probably not opening day, the car will probably stay in storage an extra month this year so I can get some $$$ saved up for a house.

I read what you wrote. I didn't interpret that as such. Being that I don't ride bikes, I would never assume the zx10r was a course bike. But being that you you state you said This is what you actually said There is a difference. Being that I don't know road course bikes I would not know that the zx10r was.

I wasn't correcting. I was staying on topic of a ZX14. The articles with the videos I posted before showed a ZX10, but that was not part of the initial conversation only the ZX14 and the ZR1.

It's all good. The one comment I made solves all of the issue. The bike wins 1/4 mile. Easily. But top end, any car that can go over 186MPH wins. That would most likely be the case with the initial photo being that a stock ZX14 is speed capped at 186mph, and the vette, not really.

That really depends on the circle you travel. I am sure each would pull the same in there circle. But in general I am voting ZR1. It screams large bank account.

they are both zx14's... the one in the video says stock motor but not stock bike... its got a swing arm on it and exhaust is the first thing that ever gets changed on a bike
