"THE CCXR - THE FIRST GREEN SUPERCAR

The CCXR will take you to an entirely new level of performance. It is a derivative of the CCX, with a highly modified engine that can run on E85 and E100 Biofuel as well as normal 98 octane petrol (Europe). When run on regular petrol, the 4.7 litre twin-supercharged Koenigsegg engine delivers 806 Bhp, but this figure rises to an astonishing 1018 Bhp when the car is run on E85 Biofuel.

The CCXR is the first green supercar in the world and thereby sets a great example for others to follow. Since the ethanol in E85 fuel has a much higher octane rating and internal cooling capacity, the engine can run with higher compression, boost pressure and more spark advance compared to the normal petrol-fuelled CCX, whilst still maintaining the same exhaust temperature"

wait what is this?? could it be? its a 4V mod motor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ftmfw!!!!!!!!!

Badass :haha:

For 1.5M Euro, I'd take the ZR1 and a few mods :D

i feel the same..but it's still cool to see a little ford motor making 1000hp's and going 220mph+ in a production car:ohsnap: i think the zr1 is a way better car in quality & appearance..

Not true. It's a Ford motor.

The Koenigsegg CCR used a modified, Rotrex supercharged Ford Modular 4-valve DOHC 4.7L V8, which produced 806 hp (601 kW), to achieve a top speed of 241 mph (388 km/h). This certified top speed was recorded on February 28, 2005 in Nardo, Italy and broke the McLaren F1's world record for fastest production car. [14] The accomplishment was recognized by Guinness World Records in 2005, who gave the Koenigsegg CCR the official title of World's Fastest Production Car. The Koenigsegg record was broken several months later by the Bugatti Veyron. This engine is the basis for Koenigsegg's twin-supercharged flexible fuel V8 seen in the CCX.

Good thing they only needed 2 blowers to make the power! lol jm, thats a pretty badass car and definitly a badass mod motor setup
