if i want just a wax would i get the z-1, z-2 etc?

no you would get the ZFX and Z 2 and Z 5, get some Z6 too.
ZFX is the 2 part w/hardner
z2 and 5 are the 'waxes'
z6 is a gloss in hancer, I call it cand shell in a bottle.

I used to have a guy that supplied it locally. I will have to call him and fine out if he still supplies it. And it is spelled Zaino. And there is NO WAX in the product. It is a synthetic polish. Wax hazes and looks faded, this stuff stays shiny!!

I agree with above, the ZFX is like the base coat (used to be Z1). Now you just mix it with the Z2 (High Gloss Polish) or Z5 (Scratch & Swirl Remover). I strongly recommend to claybar if you have not done so before. If they have a starter kit, that would be a good start for you. I will try to call my guy tomorrow to find out if he still has any product for sale.

I didnt know anyone locally sold it? I once tried to get a distributorship from Zaino but they said they wanted to keep it mainly mail order, this was about 5 years ago though. If you want a great combo for winter top the Zaino with Collintie wax and it'll last you from November through April easily.
