YouTube TV now available in the Detroit area

Looks pretty good so far. The channel lineup has grown over the last few months, but some of my favorites are missing as of now. Looks tempting.

Biggest issue I have with all these services is Discovery and History. Last time I looked some had one or the other but none had both. Sling has history, the Sony one has Discovery.

Same here. I'm going to put off the trial until the lineup grows a bit, but those two are musts for me.

Not that I'm aware of. For the most part, people that subscribe to streaming services and not cable TV will have an antenna for locally broadcast content.

I'm probably going with Sling Blue+Orange in the next week once I get my OTA antenna from Amazon.

Yep, I watch those channels the majority of the time. Science Channel and Military Channel would be nice as well.

I joined DirecTV Now early on. 100+ channels w/HBO for $35/month. It was painful early on, but when my Comcast bill jumped up, we made the move to cancel comcast and start using DirecTV Now. The service seems to be much better than when it started other than one outage last week. They have Discovery and History, but no Military Channel. Channel 2 and 7 are also now included and I have an antenna for the rest.
