Michigan will lose more than 3 games. The reason a Florida school can get in the top 25 with 3 losses is that the teams in the SEC are better. Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama and LSU are as good or better than OSU, and Kentucky is better than every Big Ten team except OSU. FSU has dropped over the last few years, as has Miami. But as Miami proved against Texas Tech, on any given Saturday (or Thursday), they can spank anyone.
Florida teams have no problem scheduling tough opponents. And to the normal Big 3 Florida schools, you now have to watch South Florida (beat Auburn and North Carolina) and Central Florida.
I'd like to see MSU go back to scheduling tough teams like Nebraska, Miami, etc. While it would be nice to play one MAC team (tradition and it helps the MAC), I'd like to see a Big Ten/SEC challenge week early in the season. I think this type of thing could help recruting. I think it would also show the Big Ten what it will take to be competitive for a National Title.
