A buddy of mine has an 85 Trans Am with the carb'd 305 with a 4 barrel carb. The problem is that his idle is really sporadic and ranges anywhere from 600 rpm to almost 2k rpm at an idle. I was thinking that he might just need to have the carb tuned. Any thoughts on this?
