Xceed has gone downhill. There are a shit ton of kids that have a shitbox honda and think they have something. Most of them run high 15's and sound like shit. The tech "advice" they offer is rediculous also. The problem is we are laid back. If these same people were to post here they would only get made fun of every time they posted till they leave. We just flame them when they say stupid shit. Kind of like the kid that made the comment auto's are slow. The line that was quoted here. The part that WASN'T mentioned was that he got tore apart for that comment by everyone that posted after him. Adam's civic (one that supposedly beat the GTO) is not stock. From the small information I have gathered it has full exhaust, headwork, and computer work. It is not hard to get a 2200 pound car to go quick.
MM has spent so much more money on their cars then most people on Xceed ever will. When you pour alot of money into a summer car it isn't hard to make it go fast. Alot of the people on Xceed drive their car year round, drive it daily, drive it long distances, and still need to get good gas mileage. 3/4 or more of the cars on MM will never be driven hundreds of miles, driven every day, or driven in the winter. For those of you who say that it isn't money look around, race engines, cages, custom twin turbo setups, hell even the car to begin with cost 10 times what most of Xceed has put into their cars.
I am a good example. My DSM will be running between 12.3 and 13.5 (depends on the management system I can go with and another "kit" I have) I have spent less then $600 on the car and will spend less then $1500 total to make the car run 13.0 or quicker. How many guys here can say they have less than $1500 into their motor let alone their whole car? Am I going to out run a bolt on LS1? No, my FWD will never launch as hard and I probably won't have enough power to hang from a roll. I will however be happy to know that I built my own car doing absolutely everything on it including the machine work on the engine, and not have 1/5 of what he bought his used car for.
Motown has more then it's fair share of tards, they just drive different cars then the Xceed tards.
Oh and Al really doesn't count, he was on Xceed well before he was here. He got mad at us for making fun of the neon lights on his Explorer and making fun of him when he wanted to put purple neons on his stang. We also picked on him because he kept bragging about how fast his car was yet never raced anyone on Xceed nor did he ever take it to the track.
Well my post should make this go to 7-8 pages of people trying to make fun of me.
