Nothing wrong at all with this trans, just miss having a manual. this is a 4r70w currently in my '00 GT. It's got about 15k miles on the converter and 10k miles on the trans, 1000 on the driveshaft. I'm looking for a 5speed setup that will swap into my car and can handle similar power to what my trans currently does. here's the details:
2000 4r70w with dirtydog rebuild kit. extra clutches/steels, bigger o/d band, custom shift kit, tailshaft lube mod, upgraded retainer ring. rated to handle 600~ whp.
Dirtydog 10" converter, 4k stall with billet front cover.
Custom built driveshaft from joint clutch & gear in bay city, mi, not sure on hp rating but he said it'd handle everything i could throw at it.
will include everything needed for swap, shifter, pedals, flexplate(8bolt) trans lines with derale trans cooler, pcm, and mount. Also have an autometer temp gauge to go with it as well.
Not willing to sell, just trade. It's my DD so the trans will be in the car until the trades been confirmed. You can come drive/ride in the car to prove it functions as it should. Pm me with any questions/offers. Mainly interested in any tko with a 26spline input or a t56 out of a cobra(10spline ok) thanks gents!
