WTF... my Apple products are all acting up

OK, here me out...

Both of our iPhone 4s are being EXTREMELY slow to connect, if at all. Lots of stuff just times out or only partially loads. Our iPad2 won't connect at all. Texting is fine on the phones. Even sending larger picture files is normal. I checked Verizon and our data is nowhere near our limit, so it shouldn't be Verizon slowing/capping data.

Our laptop connects fine to the home Wi-Fi router. No issues whatsoever with the laptop. We have obviously power cycled/reset all of the apple devices, and turned Wi-Fi on and off several times.

Is anybody else having iPhone/iPad connection problems?

We've also tried just having one device on at a time to make sure that they aren't competing.

This has been going on for a few days.... never had any problems for months and nothing has been changed.

I am sure stalker will be here shortly to tell you why all your apple products suck.
If you don't want to wait, do a search. There is a rant every day or two.

On that note though.... My 4s phone and iPad1 have been working fine all night.
Good luck.

That's wierd, my ipod touch wouldn't connect to internet or any online apps yesterday either. My laptop was working fine on wifi though. Everything is working today, but really slow to connect and load pages.

Our phones seem like they are better today. Haven't tried the iPad2 yet....

1. Have you recently updated them?
2. Have you tried resetting your router. Not just unplug it and plug it back in, I mean set it to default and reset it up.
3. Are these iPhone 4 or 4s (you could be saying both of our iPhone 4sssss).
4. Are the iPhone's connected to wireless or you just use Verizon's data. If connected to wireless have you tried disconnecting the wireless on the iPhones and seeing how they react in the house using data only?

As for Apple products sucking... they do. My iPad 2 I finally decided to update to iOS 5. It bricked it. Had to have Steph go to the Apple Store and get them to do whatever it is they do in the back room to it. Took them 40 minutes and we lost all of our data (Including pictures and Video's of Jayden) but the damn thing is back.

1. No... I've heard enough stories about them bricking that I am avoiding updates unless I have to.
2. We did try resetting the router completely. However, I don't think that was the cause of the problem because
a. The laptop still works fine
b. AND we were both having similar problems when using the iPhones at work, via our cellphone data plan, not Wi-Fi
3. Both are the iPhone 4... not 4s
4. See answer 2b
