Okay so why is that i know numerous people that have forced induction, built N/A modualr motors and so on and they can still get at least 20mpg if they wanted to, but my car that is a 99 mustang that was a v6 swapped for an 03 Gt motor cant get better than 13mpg wether i drive like a grandma or like a moron it seems that right between 180-and 200 miles my low fuel light comes on and its time to fill up again, i was thinking that after i swapped to my new motor (an almost new 03 Gt motor) from my old setup: a 98 non-PI motor that it would do better with gas becuase maybe i had a bad sensor or somthing...well its still the same.
The only thing that i can think of is that i have an EGR delete (because the tube broke and i didnt want to buy a new one for $50) but i still remember getting somewhat decent mileage like 3 years ago when i did the swap. Anyone have any idea what the hell it could be??
thanks,
Ryan
BTW my only mods are : Shorty headers, off road Pro chamber, Maganaflow catback, BBK CAI, BBK 70mm TB, Ported upper intake penlum, centerforce DF clutch setup, and a diablo tuner which is not adjusting the car what so ever aside from axle ratio and rear 02's off.
