WTF are these?

I found these Mustang & Cougar trinkets while clearing out my grandpa's tool box. They're cast metal and will stand up. I ran 'em through the blast cabinet and sprayed them with detail gray. Ebay & Google searches did not produce positive results. FWIW, none of the letters in the casting are in my grandpa's name.

Did your grandpa work at a foundry? They look like mold samples for design approval

Thanks Motown automotive antiquities experts. Yes, my grandpa worked at the Rouge in '67. I haven't talked to my uncle to know what he job he worked at Rouge or if he knows how grandpa acquired the parts.

Yep. Most times, removal of patina will cut the value in half...or more. Still bad ass either way though, I'd hang on to those. Not something you see every day.
