WTB: Tires-315's

I was looking to buy some tires for my mustang. I would want to get 315's that will fit 17's. I'm only looking for two of them.

Ok im not sure but right now i have 245/40/17 on my rims. I want to go with something a bit wider on the rear.

245 to 315 on a 9" wheel is not "a bit wider" thats 2.8 more inches of tire

315's will not be safe to mount on that size rim! You will need a wider rim to do so!

I dont even know what size rim i have.. i never mentioned i had a 9" rim. How do i find that out? and why wont it be safe?

Ok yes, i have a 94 Mustang. The rims i got with it is Aftermarket eagle rims. They already have 245's on them but im looking to go Alot wider.

Does anyone have 315's,305's,295's,285's????

315s on that small of a rim will likely give u a smaller contact patch than the 245s u currently have. u will wear down the center of the tread in no time. try doing things right the 1st time. wider rubber does not always mean better or cooler

young kids these days just want big tires for no reason other than them being cool.
