need a set of heads, headers front cover, intake,i believe ford rockers are the same as pontiac sooo im lookin for a set of rollers 1.65 ,all must be free :lmao::lmao::lmao: OR AT LEAST CHEAP

Need some more information on what you're targeting as far as the heads are concerned. Do you have a particular chamber size in mind (for static compression ratio)?

I have a set of 7K3's on the shelf. I think the black set next to them may be 94's, but I have to look to see if i let those go already.

not really concerned with comp, this motor will see nos,so 8.5-9.5 is safe for this build, most important is price!! as soon as i get time/pix im going to post in the proper place about it,typical low cost see what she can handle before it blows

Yea they are desireable, but any pontiac head can easily get the grinder and flow good numbers, short side and clean up will be plenty for my build

You're going to want to stay at 96cc or smaller chambers with that CR target. 6X's were a chunk bigger with a 7.6 CR and even 6X-4's only get you to 8.0.

7K3's are 1972 400 heads with 96cc chambers that had an 8.2:1 stock CR and the larger 2.11/1.77 valves with (IIRC?) screw-in studs. Slight milling (should be done to ensure flatness, anyway) would put you where you want to be for extra cylinder pressures. At that point you could add some bore/stroke (or start over with them on a 455) to get into the 9's if you wanted to get away from artificial help. Personally, I like that chamber size due to the variety of options it presents across all the 400-up Pontiac displacements.

I looked on the shelf and it appears the 94's I mentioned either sold or I scrapped them. But, it looks like I have 2 sets of 7K3's. Only need one set for my car's future build, so I'll sell the set shown for $50.

I can save you a drive and bring them to work with me in Sterling Heights to be picked up there. PM me if interested.
