WTB Hazard switch, and heated mirrors.

I need the Red hazard button/stalk you press to turn the hazards on and off. I do not need the whole multi function switch, mine works. So if you have the whole switch, and it doesn't work, and you want to get rid of the red piece let me know. The red piece comes out with 4 screws.
Do they make heated mirrors for a '99 Chevy? My truck did not come with them, so I do not know if there is a harness there or not. I hope this gets to the right GURU, and they give the right answers. Thanks. Also, they will need to fit this truck:

they did make heated mirrors, not sure if the trucks did, but the burbs did. Do you have 17" hummer wheels on there?

the hazard switch is 300.00 from the dealer its the complete top of the couumn and requires pulling the steering wheel, its a compete PITA to change

I am aware of cost, and such. That is the reason for the posting, it's only a 20 min. job, and not that hard to do. You pull the wheel, ignition cylinder cover, upper and lower covers, two mounting screws that hold the multi on, and four that hold the multi together, and there you are. Not sure where you got your info. from, but that is the whole process.

theres the harness that runs down the column, dont for get you have an airbag in there, I just did mine. What are the numbers from yours? I bought a used column to get one from but its incorrect for my truck as I have a 3500 so it might be good for you I have 75.00 into it

Listen everyone only thinks of their own, not what the poster has given information on. The truck is a 3/4 ton, shows that on side. No air bag, and no need to to pull harness to do the job. I paid $100.00 for the column I got from a bone yard near me, and as luck would have it, during tear down of the one I bought, my so was in the garage with me, asked a question while I was rolling the column over, I hear a snap, and there you go. The only part I need, down the drain.
Right now everything works but the hazards. I am ok with that, but would like to have everything working, as long as some one isn't trying to pay their mortgage off with the price of a red piece of plastic. If some one wants to trade the extra column I have for the piece I need, or has a decent price for the part I need, let me know.....

your in the same boat as me, I have a 3500 with a broken switch, its a different piece from the airbag column, I ended up getting one from the dealer the NON airbag columns are pretty rare to find one

I wanna say low 200s, I had to bite the bullet and get it, if your feeling gutsy you could dissasseble the switchs and swap the red piece,

Swap the red piece in what column exactly? In other words, do you have the piece I need, and just need some one to swap them out?
