if you have a bicycle already just buy a stationary unit for it.
I have a proform sr30 recumbent bike I will sell for 200. Its in great shape, bought it from sears paid 300.
where are you located?
The only problem is that the girl wants to use it too, so switching bikes would become a hassle.

where are you located? We might be able to meet up somewhere.
why would you need to switch bikes? my wife and I use my bike and she just lowers the seat when shes on it. unless you have a HUGE frame bike and your wife is tiny there shouldnt be any reason it wouldnt work.
Almont, its over an hour drive for me to my brothers in Brighton.
Im a big guy, over 6 feet and shes just under 5' 5". With the seat all the way down her legs are fully extended at the bottom of the pedal stroke. What kind of trainer do you have? Happy with it? Is it fluid or magnetic?
