WTB: dynamat

it's not the same... but dynomat is overpriced.

how much do you need and what do you need? i just did too cars with the extreme that i have a roll or two left over and i think i have one really large roll of original sitting around.

look on the internet as there are other companies that make the similar product for much less also. you pay for the name.

I here the roofing stuff stinks in the summer time....

Yeah, it smells like a parking lot. You can Dynamat is the same as all the other stuff out there. So if you just want the regular stuff an offbrand, it will do the same thing. If you want some really good shit then get the Dynamat Extreme. That is on its own level. I put that in my truck and with 4 12" subs in an Extended cab truck you couldnt even hear it. I did spend like $189 though and covered every surface in the truck though.

yeah the extreme is what i put in my two cars... expensive stuff it is. i did every inch of the car and even the roof. what a difference.

that stuff that you can buy at home depot and else where is a mess to deal with but it's understandably considered an option as it applies the same, just hope you never have to take it off. it is also true that some of the companies you can smell the chemical in your car during the summer. this usually goes away after one summer though.

some also go the other route and use the spray product on the car. it's all opinion i suppose. with exception of the price i'm very happy with the extreme which is why i have so much of the regular left over.

I did what I could in Dynamat extreme rolls and gaps with spray on bedliner..... 154.2dB before the amps were dialed in! :icon_mrgr
