Call D.S.S., everyone that seems to like their stuff, always defends them by stating how "they make their own pistons". So, if this is true, it should be a matter of changing a program in the machine and making you a new slug.

Been on the phone with them numerous times.Yes you are correct. They stated that they make all of there pistons in house. The guy I spoke with also told me that the pistons I have are about 2 years old.he also said that they do not have the program on file anymore to even make that piston.I think it is a load of crap and I am getting the run around.I have exhausted my search and best I can do is come up with a good used one. Thanks for the reply though.

Well, since you are essentially in the bent-over position in front of D.S.S. as many of their customer often find themselves, I would suggest you scrap their junk and find another piston manufacturer. Probe makes a very good piston for the money and you can always get another one if you need more, as they are not stupid enough to not keep old files on hand. This is just another example of how D.S.S.'s customer support sucks. I agree that it sounds like the runaround, but unfortunately that seems to be how they handle their business. good luck.

Thanks guys and yes I'm grabbing my ankles. If I did'nt already have the other 7 good ones,I would scrap them.I still might do the same if I can't turn one up.I know that after this episode,DSS Will get no future business from me.
The search continues
