Yep. Lol I think it's the nostalgia of having the older one. I've noticed some quality differences between the Tamiya re-release cars and the originals too. Weaker parts, thinner chassis tubs etc. I have some original Hornets and some new ones my boys play with. The older one is much better.

Now changing gears to something like a Frog, those used to go thru rear half shafts like they were going out of style. That was corrected on the re-release, but chassis stiffness suffered.

So any way, I like the old one. Lol
