Noooooooooooooooo !
I know its an auto. Have you ever driven a stalled LS1?????
You'd be surprised how well the automatic ones run. I think if you're looking for cheap, you might want to consider one of those. They normally sell for less, the stock rear lives longer, and they're actually quicker if you set 'em up right.
how the fuck are you goin to say no? let the man buy a car

its not like you can go through more than 2 gears WOT on a public road with an ls1 anyway
I have yet to ride in a stalled LS1 car. Been in multiple stalled cars, but never an LS1. I'd like to own one here in a few years, though.
Mine has a TCI SSF 4200. It's a blast. Drives awesome on the street.
I agree that driving a stick is a lot of fun, but don't knock a stalled ls1 till you give it a try!
$1300?
I believe the rental in September is where I saw it.
I've had 2 LS1 F-bodies, one auto, one 6 speed.
My 2000 SS was an auto. 12 bolt with 3.42's, catback exhaust, lid, 3400 stall and tuning. 12.73 @ 109.5 on street tires. The guy I met there with a 2002 SS w/ 6 speed had more mods, 13.20 @ 106.
My 2000 WS6 has hung the front wheels for about 18 months now. I'll have the car back together soon.
Just saying that an LS1 auto isn't the worst thing in the world... They are sure as hell softer on the glass jaw 10 bolt than the 6 speed is.
