wtb: 99-04 gt 8.8 rear end

well, i have been told that the 99-04 rears are 3/4th inch wider on either side than the one in my 96 cobra, so I can stop running my bolt on spacers.
Really just need the tube as we are going to build it to handle a few extra ponies. Let me know what ya got. A friend of mine owns a bone yard and will sell me one out of a low mile 02gt for $400, but it is complete disc to disc, and i really dont need that, plus I am cheap.

The housing should be the same. you could just swap your axles maybe the brake brackets . from one to your housing. I have those parts from an 04 for $100. 313 742 6267

400 is a great deal for a disc to disc rear end. I doubt you'll find a housing. Get that, sell the guts, axles and brakes on Ebay. I sold a complete rear end to a 03-04 Cobra owner for 850 + tax in 2007. He ran down here and bought it.
