WTB: 99-01 Cobra front bumper

Spoilers? Lol. None. But I need a front bumper for sure.

Post this in the 99-04 mustang new edge group on Facebook. They seem to come up there most often. GL with your search! I stumbled upon mine in Boca Raton Florida randomly searching CL a couple years back. Same color as my car too; it was unbelievable.
 
I've been on there hawking. Nothing yet. People want an arm and a friggin leg for them if they do have em.
 
Are they still listed for $800-$1,000?

You can check out MPS Auto Salvage. They specialize in mustangs and may have one, but I think they are fairly high priced. If you call you may be able to negotiate a lower price.
 
I found one yesterday on there for $450. It was blue, and needed the bracket riveted back on but looked good otherwise. this was posted in the "New Edge Mustangs 99-04 parts for sale" page.

$500-$600 seems to be the going rate for a nice on from a private party.

They've come down a little bit then since I got rid of my 01 Cobra a few years ago. These bumpers and the amber tail lights I don't understand the appeal of them at the prices they demand
 
Supply and demand! Im sure they will only increase in value as the years go by. MPS is a business so they're prices always seem higher than buying from an individual.

The amber tail lights I can agree with you; Id rather have the normal 99-04 lights so I can have sequential turn signals. 99-01 front bumpers though look great and I think are a good compromise between the GT and Terminator bumper. I paid $500 for mine + shipping cost. Totally worth it to me.

i saw one yesterday on FB and the guy wanted 500 plus shipping and it was beat to fcku.....it would cost me 500 to fix it. said it had no more than 1500 miles on...yeah....with it being PEPPERED to all hell with stone chips....more like 150k on it...
