I thought you could only get the exact paint code with a vin number? As in from an accident? I think Kandied looked into that EXACT color and couldnt get it.....due to it being a 50th anniv color. Am I wrong>?

Are they really different? Never saw two next to each other, but I always thought it was just marketing bs.

I'm pretty sure they are different. I've never seen them side by side either, though. I've seen a Maple Red Trans Am before and it seemed like a deeper and richer color. It's most noticeable in bright sunlight. My car almost washes out to a brownish-red color in light and the Maple Red looks more like a reddish purple. It's hard to compare because how often do you actually see a maple red Firebird or T/A? Almost never.

It could all just be my imagination, though! :lol:
