I went to test and tune tonight and on the way home i came up on a crash right after it happened, on 23 about 2 miles off of plank rd. It did not look good at all for the driver, the car was destroyed it was a F body with slicks thats about all i could make of the car, it terrible to see something like that. I hope it wasnt a motown member and i hope the guys alright, but i doubt it form the looks of it.

Ive deff made my last pass and just left on slicks without putting air in them..... That oversight can be a sketchy one.

I was at the mcdonalds when it happened . There appeared to be a box truck involved, 10-15 emergency vehicles, I was 10 miles up 23 and there was still vehicles responding

I hate thinking about who it could be. BODUKE, give us a shout out buddy so we know it's not you or someone you know.

Thanks for your concern. I in fact knew the driver. We were supposed to race at Milan but he didn't have drag radials. He was on street tires. We had been going back and forth all nite. I left Milan about 9 last nite. Twenty min later I received a call saying he had been flying and lost control and flipped and was ejected. That car was built and supercharged way too much for him. He did make one pass at Milan. Life is short I remember saying goodby to him and that was it.

Nothing anywhere on the web or on local tv news. This could be a good thing, as if it was fatal accident, 9/10 times it would be on the news.

I have a text out to a good friend that is a AA medic.

I'll try to find out more.

Our rivaly just started monday. It was a 2001 camaro ss. Those of you that were at Milan might have seen his car in the staging area. It was black and lowered with a body kit. Bree was his name.

Oh man that's terrible. No need for lectures or would have/could have. The man is gone. Very sad.

BODUKE, I didn't mean to imply that you would "take it to the street" like that. I remember that you have an F-body and run Wednesdays. Small community for sure, even the fact that you knew just met the poor fellow.
