Wreck at Bradenton NMCA Event Today.

Well this weekend I was fortunate enough to get media access for the races. Imagine my surprise when I noticed I was the only photographer track side when this wreck happened.

There are more photos in the album. Photobucket is being a pain and not posting a link for a slide show. I'll probably upload all 28 photos to Smugmug in the morning and post a slideshow link to that album.

Ya cool pics, it was not that bad really. The pics make it look worse than it was as it was pretty much outa the box and into the wall.

Hopefully tomorrow we can get everthing in with the weather moving in.

Were you running? If so, what class? Watching the wreck kinda freaked me out because I was standing right at the wall. I haven't been that close to a wreck before. Kinda wild. Yeah, the driver was okay. I think he was more pissed than anything.

I'm not going to the track today. Decided to just relax at home. I'll be keeping an eye on Facebook for updates.

i've lived in bradenton three years and have yet to get my ass over to that track. the car scene here sucks compared to detroit.

Yes, those are brake lights on that car that crashed. I was slightly surprised to see them. There's some sort of recreational area just on the other side of the street from the track. A little further up the road are strawberry fields. Pretty neat setting for a drag strip.
