Wow, if I treated my clients like this deaker treated my wife an I, I'd be out of business...

You know the car was at Woodward getting it's ass kicked all weekend long. To be completely honest with you. Move on, the deal is not there. Unless they are going to comp you a ton of money for the added miles and damage to the vehicle. Still I would be leery of what actually happened to the vehicle. And I think you should post the dealership/salesman that way nobody will visit them again.

1) Refuse this car and or any car from said dealer.
2) Post said dealership & salesman names here.
3) Go find yourself another car from an honest source.

what he said.

you know the moment you have problems with the car the dealership is going to give you hell about any warranty work.
I bet there is rubber coating the inside of the rear wheel well.

I agree with everyone else, walk away from it. Sales guy/dealer sounds like a bunch of assholes.

I thought those were hush puppies from Long John Silvers at first...then I said "Fuck! Balls!"

For the Arrested Development fans, this instantly made me think of this:

Walk away. I'd tell everyone where it is based on principle. That kind of shit shows why they should be allowed to rot.

Sounds like someone took it home for the weekend to show off. I'm betting it was a sales manager or even the dealer principle.

Bingo....I mean what kind of asshat would take a brand new car out, or worse yet...to the track...Ummm....never mind that question...

Be carful. Once you sign on the dotted line and you drive off the lot with any used car, its yours.
I think the only exception is if you do the transaction at your home? (chime in here wikdsvt) Then you have 3 days, but only if the transaction is done at your home. (tell them you fell and your in a wheel chair and cannot come to the dealer-ask them to deliver it to your home)
I would pay someone to put it up on a hoist & inspect it thoroughly (that goes for any used car).
At least they did not try to switch cars on you.

Unless the law has changed in the last few years, it's 3 days even at a dealer. A buddy bought a Porsche 944, when he brought it by we told him he had the car equivalent of beer goggles on and he needed to get his $ back, which he was able to do. Car was a POS, don't know what he was thinking. He returned the car within the 3 days and got his $$ back.

There is no cooling off period in Michigan except a mortgage.

Yea man don't do it. ANY type of company with customer service should NEVER you that kind of language or attitude. Plus, who knows how many missed shifts were in the 677 miles lol. There will be more shelby's.

Car cover should have been on it after he said it was yours, it's not a friggin 1995 Lumina....ya know?

Fuck that, this is worse than ordering a hamburger and getting it with a bite taken out of it because the waitress was also an interested party of the burger....
