If you check the PUB I am pretty sure we have resolved the Belt slippage issue with a better quality NAPA tensioner and a Gates belt with improved clearnace between the alternator and the blower drive pulley. Made around 20psi or so today with no signs of belt trouble.

There was a place that made all new brackets and tensioners for the LS1, maybe they make Ford stuff too. Something like SD concepts or something?

I personally think cogs are a little extreme for the street. They key is to get the 8-rib and make sure everything is perfectly lined up. You might have to do some custom shimming and milling. Torxilla had a place in Indiana do it with a CMM, and hasn't had a problem yet.
