Let's try to stay ON TOPIC, vote, and if you would like to play, please recommend an area/field you'd like to play. Also, it seems that so far, Sundays would probably be the best date for most people. If you have a day of the week that is usually best for you, please also post that up. Let's see if we can't get a few fun games set up for the following FALL MONTHS...

Rules:

No pads
No cleets
Full contact
 
Sorry tackle is too risky. I can't afford a broken collar bone,leg,arm or whatever else.

Nope. For a couple reasons...

1.) Trying to stay up on slick grass in sneeakers is more challenging.
2.) Getting stepped on by cleats when you don't have pads on hurts a LOT more than regular sneakers!
 
Playing tackle without pads is a good way of getting hurt...used to do that down one of the streets (yes streets) by my house and I can't count how many times people ended up with concussions but we got smart and started playing touch in high school...if you guys play some touch or flag I'd be down...I am the jerry rice of pick-up football...lol

lol.. im in on tackel.. the murderball thing wont go over to well if i leave with broken bones.. had enough of those.

The pain isn't the problem. Having a job that an injury could jeopardize is.

That's my point. Once tempers start flaring things tend to get out of control.

I'm with the tall guy. I haven't played full contact football in over 10 years, and I don't think I wanna start back up. ;)

i suggested contact on the line in another thread, and flag for tackle.. somehow that made me a pussy because i can't afford to not be able to work right now either.. I"m getting old and this recovery time seems to be getting longer and longer lmao

Yeah that's the same thing I said back in the day and I ended up breaking one of my best friends collar bone.

He burned me bad on a pass play. Next time he got the ball I tackled him alittle too hard. :eek: Let's just say I felt like an ass for a long time.

I broke my good friends wrist/arm in jr high playing football, along with my other buddies collar bone in wrestling.. yea i felt bad lol I"m too old and fragile for this shit!

Grow a pair, grils. I too work in a real job, and I have to see customers every day. We're all friends here. I can't see the game getting that out of hand. :dunno:
