If the situation is accurate as you describe it, You sure should be compensated for their terrible accounting. If I had someone tie up $4k of my money by their mistake I would be getting some serious compensation. You need to press the hell out of them, you deserve it,.

Borrow a mini van and load it up with the neighborhood kids and go the the dealership stopping at the closest ice cream place near the dealership. Let the kids loose in the showroom with their cones and then start screaming at the top of your lungs that you want to see the owner because they have stolen money from you. I'll bet that you walk out of there with$4000.00 pretty quickly.

I have had HUGE issues with the Ford dealer down here in NC. My experince was so bad, that If I ever buy a new ford again I will tell Matt what I want and go pick it up in michigan. Now, It is worth the 200 or so bucks for the one way ticket to michigan to deal with compatince.

Next question, Was it John Bleaky Ford? when I was Stationed there in the old Navy days, I bought a (then new) 97 escort from them.......they were a pain in the ass too.

This is a VERY bad idea. Cruising around offering ice cream in mini van trying to pick up neighborhood kids? Is there something you want to tell us about yourself? :lol:

good deal..... had a similar issue with Empire carpet at the beginning of the year. said it would take 5 days to refund my money. took almost a month and a conference call with my bank.
