Oh wow. That is sweet. I am sure Volkswagen wont let that be the case for too long. The Bugatti will be ontop again.

I'm not so sure about that...I think they've done what they wanted to do with the Veyron, which was to create an extremely fast car you can be comfortable in. Even the GrandSport had a very plush interior, high end sound system, A/C, etc. The Venom is a great car, but it looks like a road going race car (it is built off a Lotus chassis, after all), and I'm sure it feels and sounds like one inside, too. I would be interested to see what a Veyron could do with all the extra comfort bits removed, though.

Now, I'm not saying that to take anything away from the achievement here, just saying that the goals were different...Hennessy wanted to have the fastest road going car...Bugatti wanted to have the fastest car on the road that felt like a normal car.
