I think it was hooking but he said it was a problem with his trans which i dont think so because it sounded like it was breaking up and not a problem with the gears.

It definitely seemed like a tune issue, and not a trans. I know a little bit about rotary's, but I never got to make my way over and see the car, and what he was running for tuning (I'm guessing Microtec) because the cop showed up about the same time.

Poor guy, cool car, nothing in it but a seat so it should fly. I'm not huge into rotary's but shit even a motorcycle engine will push that car out. I think the car wouldn't go right and is having issues with the weather and what not. The guy tuned it last year, so everythign changed such as weather and humidity. Do they have MAFs or what?

lol, it ran ok just not as good as i figured..on the way there we were going from 2nd gear and i expected more but whatever. It was a good race, long time rivalry..

idk he claimed the same thing to a friend of mine (who is a friend of his) and it didnt sound like he was trying to make excuses to us. It seemed like the car was free-revving a bit when it drove by... but im no expert on anything turbo, i just know the tune has to be just right on something like that.

Thanks man, yea i love Brians notch..that was a good time seeing all those cars together. There was so many packs of cars riding down there..
