When is the best time of day/day to go to the cruise? I'm Planning on going today. Where are the least amount of police? I need to roast my tires off before I put on my drag radials.What about Flint?

Every city along Woodward puts their police on Mandatory overtime through the weekend, and some are very intolerant.

THere has to be some side streets in Pontiac where you can line up the cars... By the GM engine plant? Nice smooth straight streets, all cement, not asphalt.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. "Cruise" is code for driving slow.
I go just to look at some of the cars and chit chat with folks.
Driving a fast car slow is unappealing to me.
If you want to lead foot then go to Milan or one of the Grattan track days.

There's a spot they've been racing at all summer. Not the best spot but not bad either.
